My MP3 Splitter is a very basic and extremely user friendly program. However, some users might be upset with the lack of some more advanced features. For example, there are no options to convert other music files to MP3.
My MP3 Splitter allows users to edit information about the song clips that they extract. For example, they can edit the tags and the name of the files. On the main page, users can view details about the songs they are going to cut. This includes the sample rate, file size and channels. When it's time to actually cut an MP3, this program uses the method of marking the start and end points. This makes it extremely easy for users to mark the section of a song they want.
One of the biggest drawbacks to the program is that it can only cut MP3 files. This is something that users should expect given the name of the program, but it would have been nice to see support for other media files such as WAV or MIDI. Users could download a separate program to convert music files into MP3 files, but that requires a completely separate download.
